Events of Preston Trip - Willow Park Zoo

In Logan there is a little zoo called Willow Park Zoo. It's attached to a park there and is only a dollar to go to. As far as bang for your buck goes, Willow Park has a lot to offer! These monkeys greeted us as we came in the gate.

There were lots of ducks and birds, but I'm only posting a couple because, well, we've all seen lots of ducks and birds.
I had to post this one because of the cute/ugly baby bird factor.
Here's a golden eagle they have, or as Steve calls them, a dragon. (For those of you who don't know, goldens are probably the worst nightmare of falconers.)
Another animal Steve just loves... coyotes.
And to top off Steve's list of favorite animals, a fox! (Steve thinks anything that kills pheasants should be killed in turn, which include the cute little fox you see here! Awww.... such a bully.)
Kitty...
Perhaps the most entertaining part about this picture is what you can't see: Ray holding the branch of willow leaves this wallaby thought far superior to all those within its enclosure. The grass is just always greener, isn't it?
Steve and I agreed when seeing this bald eagle that we are very glad that Benjamin Franklin didn't get his way and make our official bird the turkey...

Last but not least, perhaps my favorite sign/exhibit of the whole zoo. Made me smile, hopefully it does the same for you.

So, blog number 1 of our Preston/Idaho Falls trip. Lots of fun with Ray and Reva and inexpensive to boot! Don't get much better than family and animals, and all for an affordable price!
