Steve found a new park nearby out towards Potlatch, and on a whim we decided to go visit yesterday. We loved it! It's called Laird Park and is run by the Forest Service. We are thinking about going back and camping sometime if we ever get the chance...
It almost felt like visiting Western Washington at times on our walk as everything was so green!
There were some little trails (some just mowed in the grass), a playground, and even a little dam built by the CCC.
Our day trips have been great!
