We got dogs!

Ok, so we really would love to have a puppy, but can't where we are at right now. So instead, my sister Julie got us the next best thing! Which is NOT another pet...

These are "Shishi dogs" or lion dogs according to Julie. They are supposed to protect the home from bad spirits when they are on either side of the door. Ours would get broken there, so currently they are adorning our book shelf in the living room. The great and ironic part is that the female shishi is the one sitting quietly and the male is the one making the face. So right. In so many ways.
